"Despite a fairly light crowd, Huey was oozing sex appeal on stage as usual! A real living room gig feel this night, very cosy. A great mix of the very old, classics and new stuff (which was great), Scooby Snacks certainly woke the crowd up and the guys really seemed to appreciate it. Though they were busy in the studio during year 2000 they still managed to get on the road. They did something in Ireland, T in the Park in Scotland, and they also headlined at the Bulldog Bash in England. Towards the end of the year they also did a mini-promotional tour:- Sun 10th December - Life Cafe, Manchester, Mon 11th December - Garage, Glasgow, Tues 12th December - Irish Centre, Birmingham, and Wed 13th December - Concorde 2, Brighton. Tickets were limited and could only be won through various promotion competitions by the like of One2One.

In 1999 they toured the UK late spring, they then played the festivals (Glastonbury, T in the Park, and Reading) and in November/December done another UK tour.  So I got to see them at the London Forum, Glastonbury and Brixton Academy! They showed a short film before each gig. Maui Homicide 2000 is a spoof cop show starring the band which will be on their DVD release 'Love Ya Back'.
